Creating content that makes brands stand out.
The Pods is a modern eco-cabin accommodation brand in Noordhoek, built around slow living, nature, comfort and the unique light of the valley. For this project, I created a series of social media reels designed to showcase the experience of staying at The Pods — from the peaceful setting and Scandinavian-inspired interiors to the surrounding Noordhoek lifestyle. My role included shaping the visual direction, filming the content, editing the reels and delivering polished social-first videos that help communicate the brand’s calm, nature-led atmosphere and premium accommodation offering.
Dawn
To capture the feeling of the stay, I focused on creating a sense of calm, escape and ease. The videos were shaped to feel like a quiet break from everyday life slow mornings, peaceful moments, fresh air, soft movement and the simple feeling of being somewhere beautiful. Rather than just showing the space, I aimed to translate the experience into social content that felt warm, inviting and easy to imagine yourself in.
Dusk
For Dusk, I focused on capturing a mood that felt calm, cinematic and slightly more atmospheric. The video was shaped around the feeling of the day slowing down soft light, quiet movement, deeper tones and the peaceful transition into night. Rather than just showing the pod, I wanted the content to feel like an evening escape: warm, still and inviting, with a sense of calm that makes the viewer imagine themselves switching off and settling in.
Verdelight
For Verdelight, I focused on capturing a brighter, more energised feeling the sense of being surrounded by light, warmth and nature at its most alive. The video was shaped to feel fresh, vibrant and uplifting, using movement, daylight and outdoor moments to create the feeling of a midday escape. Rather than simply showing the pod, I wanted the content to communicate energy, openness and the kind of peaceful vitality that makes the stay feel refreshing and restorative.
